This traditional folk remedy has been a part of ancient medicine throughout many different lineages and can be traced through the kitchens and hearths of generations. While all finding their root from infused herbal vinegars, unique recipes can be found based on regional herbs available, culture, and family tradition. Long favored by the herbal community, this potent vinegar infusion has a rich history as a remedy for staving off autumn and winter ailments such as cold and flu.

Our warming and spicy tonic is inspired by Rosemary Gladstar’s recipe with some Elder Sisters magick thrown in. Our fire cider comes straight from our garden to your kitchen with homegrown and organic herbs and vegetables, homemade Apple Cider Vinegar and Catskill Mountain honey. Hearth Fire offers you a blend of powerful immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-septic, anti-fungal, respiratory, and circulatory herbs, that are known for their decongestant, expectorant and digestive stimulating properties.

This powerful brew lines our cupboards in the Autumn & Winter months and is a daily tonic for us once the first chill makes its way across the mountains. We’ve conjured larger batches this year and are thrilled to share this spicy tonic to carry you through the changing seasons.
